Nomads Badminton Club is a friendly, non-competitive club focused on having fun and enjoying the sport. We do not participate in any leagues, and the primary objective is for all members to play and have a good time.
Our club welcomes all genders, ages (over 18), and skill levels, as long as you have a basic foundation in badminton technique. We play doubles only, and our sessions are a great way to meet people and get active in a relaxed, social environment.
We have multiple courts available in a large sports hall and use plastic (red) shuttle shuttlecocks.

We play every Wednesday night from 20:30 to 22:00 at:
Bedales School, Church Road, Steep, Petersfield, Hampshire, GU32 2DG
How to get there:
From the A3M, take the Winchester exit. At the roundabout, take the exit onto Winchester Road (signposted "Town Centre, Steep"). At the next roundabout, take the first exit onto Bell Hill (signposted "Froxfield, Steep"). Just before the Cricketers Pub, turn right into Church Road. After about half a mile, turn right into Bedales School.
Please drive through the school grounds at no more than 10 MPH. Once inside, follow the road past the first turning on the right and the buildings. When the road splits, bear right and continue down the hill. The sports hall will be on your left.

Location Update

Bedales will be closed for us from the 23rd December 2025 until the 5th January. We will announce an alternative location, day, time for the sessions closer to the time.
